Great location with close access to Chania. Lots of room for friends. Pool was great( no issues with PH level as a review had previously mentioned) 2 bathrooms outside by pool both with showers. Beds a little uncomfortable, upper floor shower had a little low pressure. Supplies a little low(paper towel, tissues, toilet paper) some ants along the perimeter of the house inside but didn't bother us. the pros definitely outweighed the cons. Would book it again

We recently enjoyed a lovely holiday in Crete, and our stay at Villa Adam was memorable for many reasons. The villa is in a fantastic location, being so close to Chania made exploring easy, and we also loved how near it was to the waterpark, mini golf, and go karting. The views from the villa are beautiful, and the toilets and showers by the pool were modern, clean and incredibly convenient. The team who ran the villa were genuinely helpful, arranging car hire for us and transport to and from the airport, which made our arrival and departure stress-free. There are, however, a few things we feel could make the villa even better. The upstairs shower unfortunately had very low pressure, so it went unused. Some fly nets on the downstairs exterior bedroom doors would be a great addition, allowing those doors to stay open while swimming for easy access without letting in insects. We also asked about a key to the kitchen door but didn’t receive a response, and with some doors locking from the inside only, we were occasionally worried about getting locked out. A visitor book with house information, local recommendations, and details on who might be coming to the property (like gardeners or maintenance staff) would also be really useful. The main disappointment was the pool. Sadly, 4 out of 5 of us developed a rash after swimming. After testing the water ourselves and finding the pH too low, we raised it with the villa team. Initially, there was some disagreement, but later another pool company confirmed our results. The owners were kind enough to offer a night’s refund, but the pH remained low, so we weren’t able to use the pool as much as we’d hoped, this was a shame as it was the main reason we chose the villa. Overall, the villa has so much going for it, the location, the views, the friendly and helpful hosts and with a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional. We’re grateful for the hospitality and hope our feedback helps make future stays even better.
